Itinerary:
- Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Your journey begins in Arusha, Tanzania’s safari capital nestled at the foot of Mount Meru. Upon arrival, you’ll be met by your Dayshamo Safaris guide and transferred to your hotel or lodge in town. Settle in, relax, and receive a pre-safari briefing. If time allows, explore the local markets or museums to get a taste of Tanzanian culture.
Overnight: Budget lodge or hotel in Arusha.

- Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you’ll depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its rolling savannah, huge elephant herds, and giant baobab trees. A full-day game drive offers plenty of chances to spot elephants, lions, impalas, zebras, and more.
You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild, then continue exploring the park’s rich landscapes. As evening approaches, head to your campsite just outside the park where your crew will set up tents and prepare a hot meal over an open fire.

- Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park
Today you’ll drive to the nearby Lake Manyara National Park, a lush and scenic area famous for its flamingos, baboon troops, and tree-climbing lions. Game drives wind through groundwater forests, open plains, and the lakeshore.
You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park, followed by a visit to Mto wa Mbu village for a cultural walk — meeting local artisans, farmers, and food vendors.

- Day 4: Journey to Central Serengeti
After breakfast, you’ll ascend into the Ngorongoro Highlands before continuing toward Serengeti National Park. As you enter the Serengeti, the landscape opens into vast plains filled with wildlife. En route to central Serengeti, you’ll enjoy game viewing — with a chance to spot cheetahs, lions, and large herds of grazers.
Depending on the time of year, this is where you may begin to encounter migrating herds of wildebeest and zebras moving toward fresh pastures.

- Day 5: Full Day in Serengeti – Following the Migration
This day is devoted to tracking the Great Migration. Your guide will take you to areas with high wildlife concentrations based on seasonal movement — whether in Seronera (central), Western Corridor, or Northern Serengeti.
Expect heart-racing scenes: predators on the hunt, wildebeest crossing rivers, or vast columns of animals marching across the horizon. You’ll stop for a picnic lunch in the bush and continue your exploration until sunset.

- Day 6: Another Day with the Migration Herds
Another full day in the Serengeti maximizes your chances of witnessing dramatic moments. Whether it’s a river crossing, a lion stalk, or simply the overwhelming sight of thousands of animals on the move, today is all about immersing in the rhythm of the wild.
Your guide will tailor the game drive route based on real-time animal tracking and your preferences. Optional hot air balloon safari available (advance booking required).

- Day 7: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater Rim

By late afternoon, you’ll arrive at a campsite on the Ngorongoro Crater rim, where cool breezes and breathtaking views await. Enjoy dinner by the fire as you prepare for tomorrow’s descent into the crater.

- Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Return to Arusha

Enjoy a half-day game drive and a picnic lunch near a hippo pool before heading back to Arusha, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or transferred to the airport for your flight.
